Our aim is to provide an e-publishing service for writers to make a living through their craft, turn readers into active not passive participants, and improve the quality of the independent e-book scene by providing editorial services, tools, connections, design and marketing for those who wish to sell their books, along with an intuitive, useful interface and wide-selection of products for those who wish to read them and interact with them in new and meaningful ways.
Revenues are split 50/50 with our content creators unlike the traditional publishing model which is 80/20. The company is also committed to introducing an affiliate programme when we hit critical mass that rewards readers for propagating our content and creating further sales.

Across the globe, virtually every industry that has digital content is in the midst of an enormous transition. The company views this as an opportunity to engage with authors and readers in profoundly new and mutually beneficial ways. Technologies have combined to remove inventory, geographic, and cultural barriers to digital content creation and sell through.
In the linear world you if you produce a book (IP) that attracts attention then there is the obvious potential of merchandise, Apps, Games, TV production, Film Production, Animation, Music tie-in etc. In the digital world the web has helped speed that process up 100% and broken the territory trap, everything is global now.
Iponymous as much as it is a publisher is also at its very core a content studio. And in this capacity its building IP for exploitation through traditional channels and more importantly through channels that are not yet in existence, but soon will be (transmedia). Technology is key but you can’t run technology on thin air – Content will always be king.
We plant seeds in the content, bringing customers back via the books website and offering them spin-offs: blogs, twitter, Facebook accounts of characters from their favourite content. This offers an opportunity to stay close to our customers. We then look to sell them apps, games, merchandise and of course sequels.
The company is also looking to develop literary web based projects for kids – where they can create their own graphic novels – we see this as a worthwhile aim in promoting literacy and also the growth potential is enormous.
All our titles sell through channels: Google, Amazon, Apple, Kobo etc…As well as through our home site, visit us at www.iponymous.com
